ABOUT MACHEN RANCH

Barbara Machen and Justin Dugosh and his two daughters and wife (Amy Dugosh) welcome you to the Machen Ranch in Frio. county in the South Texas Brush Country. Running South from the Frio River, the ranch is located in an area that has a long history of producing some of Texas' greatest bucks of all time, such as the Basil Dailey buck (192 2/8 B&C), and the great non-Typical killed by Bernard Brown that has a net B&C score of 259'. The Machen Ranch strives to continue producing excellent quality whitetail deer that Frio County has long been famous for. 

At Machen Ranch, we are dedicated to providing our clients with an unforgettable hunting experience. Our ranch is home to a wide variety of game, including deer, dove, wild boar, turkey, and more. We pride ourselves on our commitment to sustainable hunting practices and ensuring that our guests have a safe and enjoyable time. Our experienced guides and staff are passionate about what they do and will go above and beyond to make your hunting trip successful. Machen Ranch is a working ranch that has been in our family since 1945 the ranch has a cow-calf operation with whitetail hunting and a boar goat operation along with a few chickens.
